Terms and Refund Policy

Last updated: June 20, 2026

These terms explain how ClipCycle purchases, subscriptions, activation, support, and refund requests work.

Overview

These terms apply to ClipCycle for Mac, ClipCycle Smart features, the ClipCycle website, and the ClipCycle Google Sheets Bridge Chrome extension.

By downloading, buying, subscribing to, or using ClipCycle, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use ClipCycle.

Products and services

ClipCycle for Mac is a desktop app for clipboard history, snippets, screen text capture, and repeated paste workflows.

ClipCycle Smart features are optional paid features that may use online services to process text, formatting instructions, spreadsheet context, or other content you choose to use with those features.

ClipCycle Google Sheets Bridge is a companion Chrome extension that helps the Mac app understand the active Google Sheets context. The extension is not a standalone product.

Purchases, subscriptions, and activation

The ClipCycle Mac app may be sold as a one-time purchase. Smart features may be sold as monthly or yearly subscriptions.

Payments, subscriptions, receipts, billing details, and payment methods are processed by Stripe. ClipCycle does not store full credit card numbers.

You are responsible for entering a valid email address at checkout. App activation, subscription access, receipts, account access, and support may depend on the email address used at checkout.

Subscription cancellation

You can manage or cancel Smart subscriptions from the account page or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, but it does not automatically refund a current billing period.

If a subscription is canceled, Smart features may remain available until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise required by law or stated by Stripe.

Refund policy

If you bought the one-time Mac app and cannot download, install, launch, or activate it, contact support@clipcycle.app within 14 days of purchase. If the issue cannot be reasonably resolved, ClipCycle may issue a refund.

For Smart subscriptions, you can cancel future renewals at any time. Refunds for subscription periods that have already started are generally not provided, except for duplicate charges, billing mistakes, unresolved technical access problems, or where required by law.

Refund requests should include the checkout email address, purchase date, product or plan, and a short description of the issue. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method when possible.

Acceptable use

Do not use ClipCycle to break the law, violate other people's rights, bypass security controls, distribute malware, send abusive requests, or interfere with ClipCycle services.

You are responsible for the text, files, spreadsheet content, prompts, or other material you choose to process with ClipCycle.

License and restrictions

ClipCycle grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and services for personal or internal business use, subject to these terms.

You may not resell, sublicense, copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or misuse ClipCycle except where applicable law gives you a right to do so.

Third-party services

ClipCycle may rely on third-party services for payments, hosting, email, analytics, AI-powered processing, browser extension distribution, and related operations.

Google Sheets, Chrome, Chrome Web Store, Stripe, macOS, and other third-party products are governed by their own terms. ClipCycle is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Availability and changes

ClipCycle may change, pause, or discontinue features, pricing, plans, or availability. If a change materially affects paid access, ClipCycle will try to provide reasonable notice when practical.

ClipCycle may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

ClipCycle is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ClipCycle does not guarantee that every feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every workflow.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipCycle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
