Overview
ClipCycle is a Mac app for clipboard, snippets, screen text capture, and Smart Fill workflows. ClipCycle Google Sheets Bridge is a Chrome extension that connects Google Sheets to the ClipCycle Mac app running locally on your computer.
This policy explains what information ClipCycle and the Google Sheets Bridge use, why it is used, and how it is handled.
Information the Chrome extension uses
The ClipCycle Google Sheets Bridge extension runs only on Google Sheets pages. It may read the active cell reference, sheet name, spreadsheet URL or ID, tab or gid, and row-1 headers so ClipCycle can understand the spreadsheet field you are working with.
The extension sends this context to the ClipCycle Mac app through a local connection on your computer, such as 127.0.0.1 or localhost. This is used to support Smart Fill and spreadsheet workflows.
Information the Chrome extension does not collect
The extension does not collect payment information, passwords, authentication credentials, health information, location data, browsing history, or personal communications.
The extension does not use remote code. Its JavaScript is included in the extension package.
ClipCycle app and Smart features
When you use Smart features, ClipCycle may send the text or context you choose to process to ClipCycle services or service providers needed to provide that feature. This may include text selected by you, clipboard content you choose to use, screen text capture results, spreadsheet context, and formatting instructions.
ClipCycle uses account and billing information only to activate purchases, manage subscriptions, provide support, and prevent abuse.
Payments and billing
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. ClipCycle does not store full credit card numbers. Stripe may process billing details according to its own privacy policy.
Email and support
If you contact support or receive account emails, ClipCycle may process your email address and message content to respond to your request, send activation messages, and provide service updates.
Data sharing
ClipCycle does not sell user data. ClipCycle does not transfer user data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or purposes unrelated to providing and supporting ClipCycle.
ClipCycle may share information with service providers only when needed to operate the product, process payments, send email, provide AI-powered features, host the website, or comply with legal requirements.
Data retention
ClipCycle keeps information only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve reliability.
Local clipboard history, snippets, and local app settings are primarily stored on your device unless a feature explicitly sends selected content to a service for processing.
Your choices
You can uninstall the Chrome extension at any time. You can stop the local bridge by quitting the ClipCycle Mac app. You can manage subscriptions from the account page or through the billing portal.
